Joined the club in 2003 when his son callum started playing and quickly became involved helping with taking mini soccer goals down,quickly passed his FA level 1 course & coached the u7s to a very successful cup win in the reddish league before moving on to pass the FA level 2 course & manage the u12s in 2006.He became vice-chairman & took on the role of club co-ordinator in 2007
