22/08/2010 will be the last day of the season and there will be 4 tournaments with all the teams currently in the East Manchester Summer League participating. Start Time is 09:00 with the presentation at 12:30. All players will receive a trophy for taking part in the summer league. I would suggest bringing a packed lunch and plenty of drinks!!! Also on that day, Manchester County FA will make a presentation to the EMJFL to mark their League Charter Standard and it is their wish that all the players are involved in the photo shoot.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
